OPAL

OPAL is an award-winning, mentor supported programme that is supporting us to improve the quality of our play opportunities. OPAL is the only programme of its kind that has been independently proven to sustainably improve the quality of play in British primary schools.

At our school, we aim for everyone  to be happy, successful, confident and responsible learners and that applies to both academic learning and learning through play. We believe a positive play experience enhances a child’s emotional, mental and physical well-being.

 

OPAL loose parts  

We are always looking out for loose parts to enhance the children's play. Please have a look at the loose parts list whenever you are having a sort out at home, in the garage or on the garden - you may be able to help us!
